ARE THE TOYS YOU CARRY SAFE?

Yes! We carefully research the companies that we purchase our toys from and you can be confident that the toys we offer have all been safety tested to the highest standards of the toy industry.


DO YOU TAKE SPECIAL ORDER REQUESTS?

We always try to accommodate your requests. Some of the vendors that we deal with are more flexible with their minimum quantities, and some are rather strict. It is always good to ask - We are happy to do it whenever we can.​

I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD DEAL OR A DISCOUNT, DO YOU OFFER ANY?

We often have special coupons/deals for local customers who shop in person. These are valid on most items that we have in stock and can be found in local papers, on placemats and in area advertisments for select events.

Our online shop always has a sale section with some great deals on select toys - these savings are not always available to our in-person shoppers.


WHY ARE SOME OF YOUR ITEMS ON SALE?

Sometimes we put items on sale that we are discontinuing from our inventory and no longer plan on carrying, sometimes because an item is the last one left and sometimes because the box, or packaging, is slightly damaged (but the products inside are fine). We offer these at deep discount prices and they cannot be returned.


CAN I PURCHASE/USE A GIFT CARD ONLINE?

Sorry, but our gift cards can only be purchased and redeemed at our retail location in Bethel, Connecticut.

CAN I PLACE AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE?

Sure! We can gladly help you out over the phone. Whether you know what you want to buy, or you need us to pick something out for you, we can do it all for you. Be sure to have your credit card ready and give us a call at 203-791-0531.


WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

We are happy to ship your items within the contiguous United States. Our shipping rates are based from our location in Bethel, Connecticut. We ship by USPS or UPS depending on weight and size of the package. Orders will be shipped within 3 days of purchase, holidays excluded. Both USPS and UPS may experience longer than normal shipping times at different times throughout the year so we cannot guarantee when your package will be delivered.


I HAVE FRIENDS/FAMILY THAT LIVE NEAR YOU, CAN I ORDER A GIFT FOR THEM AND HAVE THEM PICK IT UP?

Absolutely! We love it when locals pick up gifts from friends and family that live elsewhere. During the checkout process there is a spot for you to enter the name of the person who will be picking up the item. We will email YOU when the order is ready, and then you can tell them. If you are arranging it as an anonymous gift, please leave us a note during check out and include their phone number. We'll call them and let them know a surprise is ready to be picked up at The Toy Room.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

We hope that you will love your purchase but in the event that you don't...


We accept returns of unopened merchandise, in new condition, within 30 days of purchase. Sale and seasonal (Valentine's Day/Easter/Halloween/Holiday) merchandise are final sale and cannot be returned.


For returns that were perchased online - The customer is responsible for the shipping cost of the return. We ask that you please call us at 203-791-0531 to start the return process. Returned merchandise must be received back in new condition before you are refunded.


For returns that were purchased in person - We will refund you your original purchase price using your original form of payment as long as you have your receipt. Returns without a receipt will receive the current price and a store credit.


WHAT HAPPENS IF A TOY I BOUGHT IS BROKEN OR MISSING PARTS?

You have a few options:

1. Bring the toy into the store and we will replace it, or give you a store credit if we no longer have the item.

2. Call or email the company directly - often times they can help you troubleshoot, or send you the necessary part(s).

3. If you purchased the item online, give us a call and we'll help to resolve it.

I CHOSE IN-STORE PICK UP, NOW WHAT?

Most orders are ready to be picked up within 2 hours during our regular business hours. We will send you an email when the order is ready. If you do not receive one, please check your spam folder, or call us at 203-791-0531. The pick-up location is at our retail store: 180 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, CT. If an order is not picked up within 30 days it may be donated to a local charity. If you are unable to pick it up, please call or email us to make other arrangements.

I CANNOT FIND MY GIFT CARD, CAN IT BE REPLACED?

Unfortunately gift cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
